This page says who publishes the site, under which licenses, where it is served from, and whether it sets cookies or tracks visitors. It follows the same rule as the rest of the site, so each figure on it has a stated source.
Who publishes this
This site, and the tool it describes, are published by Arslane Chaouche, the licensor named in the first line of the license file that ships with the tool. The company that contracts and invoices the paid engagements is HS Industries LLC, which he founded. Write to contact@crusetra.com for an engagement letter, a vendor-onboarding questionnaire, or a security concern about the tool; the same address receives all three.
Under which licenses
The tool is licensed PolyForm Noncommercial, with a thirty‑day Evaluation Grant, a right to evaluate the tool that is written into the license file. The full terms are in Appendix D. The text and figures of this site are by the same author. The typeface is Literata, by TypeTogether, under the SIL Open Font License, and it is served from this site's own files. The objects pictured on the appendix pages were modeled for this site by its author.
Where it is served
The site is static files, which GitHub Pages serves straight from the public repository that holds them. No server code of ours runs to show you this page.
What this site does to visitors: nothing
No cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no forms. The scripts on this site do two things only. The main screen keeps its animation and the browser tab title in step with each other. The appendix pages open their sections when you print. You can switch the scripts off and the site still works. Each number shown here has a stated source, and the file that states each source is public, next to this page: releve.json. Those numbers come from our public test set, a file we froze. A content hash is a code that identifies a file by its contents. The one in the masthead, the band at the top of the page, is the content hash of that frozen file.
When we are wrong
The tool publishes a retraction file, which lists each published conclusion that turned out to be wrong, and a test holds that file open. The same applies to this site. When a number here is corrected, the correction is made in the open and the change is recorded.
